For today’s talk from our 6-week-long Summer Series: 25 minute daily talks, we had a session with Alya Lilani, Culture & Diversity Partner at News UK.

Here Alya Lilani talks us through how News UK is tackling this challenge: attracting new young talent, accelerating employee development, and driving inclusivity in its content, and her pivotal role as Culture and Diversity Partner.

Alya spoke about:

  • Recognising the barriers to entry, progression and inclusive products
  • The 3 core pillars in the News UK diversity strategy: recruitment and retention, diversity in leadership & Inclusive products
  • Making changes to shift culture
  • and more…
