Leading with a PeopleFirst Mindset is a three-week live learning cohort designed for leaders who want to build thriving, high-performing workplaces by putting people at the heart of everything they do. Created by Positive Foundry in partnership with Inspiring Workplaces, this interactive programme blends the science of human flourishing with proven people-first leadership practices that drive culture, wellbeing, and performance.
Across three energising 50-minute sessions, leaders from around the world come together in a small-cohort experience to learn, reflect, and practise practical skills that strengthen purpose, connection, and impact at work. Each session combines expert facilitation, peer dialogue, and simple, actionable tools you can apply immediately with your teams.
Offered in two limited-availability cohorts of three back-to-back weekly sessions, this programme provides a focused, supportive learning journey where leaders can deepen self-awareness, share real challenges, and build a community committed to creating inspiring workplaces where individuals and organisations flourish.

Session 1: April 14, 2026

What is human flourishing?
The opening session will explore the science behind sustainable well-being and performance through the lens of positive psychology. We will unpack the research-backed definitions of flourishing and psychological safety and why organizations that invest in the whole human see stronger engagement and better business results.
The learning cohorts will be introduced to key ideas from positive psychology and what helps people feel and do their best – at work and beyond. We’ll share a few easy well-being habits that anyone can use to boost energy, focus, and connection during the workday.
Designed with human connection in mind, this session creates space for meaningful dialogue, learning from other participants, and networking with fellow senior leaders. Together, we’ll explore why lasting behavior change requires more than knowledge alone, and how the combination of learning, connection, and practice accelerates growth.
The session also explores the role of a growth mindset in organizational development, offering practical insights on how leaders can encourage learning and continuous growth and development within their teams.

Session 2: April 21, 2026

FINDING POSITIVITY
We all know that positive emotions are critical to building strong cultures, but it can be hard to find positivity in days filled with back-to-back meetings and little time to recharge. In our second session, we will dig into some neuroscience and understand our natural wiring and why positive emotions don’t always show up for us. We will also review data that underscores the importance of creating time and space at work for greater positivity.
Through dialogue, we will share how different organizations are building positive cultures, and we will create a personal plan to increase positive emotions in our lives and with our teams.

RELATIONSHIPS AT WORK
One of the keys to unlocking high performance is building strong teams, and teams start with relationships. Our third and final session of this series will explore how strong relationships aren’t a soft skill but rather a performance multiplier. They determine how fast teams execute, how well they collaborate, and how they manage challenging situations.
We will reflect on key relationships, recognize vulnerability as a strength, and identify ways to practice this at work. In our cohorts, we will discuss peer relationships that prevent burnout, manager-employee relationships that increase effort, and how to create psychological safety.
Each participant will leave with an action plan to build deeper connections and stronger teams with measurable impact.
