SPS appears to have built a strong people strategy for a uniquely difficult operating model. Managing nearly 3,000 employees across hundreds of client sites with limited shared physical space or common communication channels is no small feat, and the organization deserves credit for creating consistency, visibility, and engagement in a highly distributed environment. The strongest aspect of SPS’s approach is that it seems to understand its reality: this is a frontline, embedded, service-heavy workforce, and culture has to travel through leaders, systems, and daily habits rather than headquarters messaging.
