This is an exceptional submission and one of the most genuinely distinctive entries I have reviewed. What strikes me most about Meeting Tomorrow is not any single initiative but the coherence between their mission and every people decision they make. “To build a culture of respect and affection” is an unusual and brave mission statement for any company, let alone an events agency, and reading through this submission, I am convinced it is lived rather than merely stated.

  • Comment from the judges

I appreciate the mission for respect and affection and am really impressed with the direction of 10% of profits to the Tomorrow Fund. Wow. And the coverage of every employee getting to donate, scholarships and neighborhood impact is notable. I also really appreciate the culture of present leadership. Many companies underestimate the impact of leadership presence or don’t focus on it explicitly and it’s a big deal that Meeting Tomorrow does. And 96% of people who say they want to work there long term is incredible, as well as 96% who consider it a great place to work.

  • Comment from the judges

Your submission and a deeper look into the company through the materials you put together are so inspiring. Regardless of size of the organization, putting employees at the center means making hard business decisions. Here, we see evidence of this time and again. A great example you share is with the employee benefits and health care costs. That’s not a decision and business move many companies choose to make.

  • Comment from the judges

A sincere congratulations on the incredible work you are doing. I was particularly struck by how central listening to and acting on employee feedback is to everything you do. And your commitment to measurement is fantastic. Paricuarly in your EDI programs, I was inspired by how clear and measurable your goals are and how they are tied to true representation and an investment in diverse teams and leaders. This is some great work and I hope you are very proud of your accomplishments.
