The near 50/50 gender representation and majority-minority composition in an industry not known for either is particularly impressive and worth celebrating.

And then there is the Travel XREF program. I honestly do not think I have seen anything quite like it. The application process, the five days off, the travel stipend — it creates space for someone to explore something meaningful, come back changed, and then share that learning with others. It is a life-changing opportunity for the individual, and a growth opportunity for the firm.
