Creating Connection & Belonging at Work
Discover how to create the belonging and connection that will truly energise and inspire your people.
Thursday the 23rd of April 9.30am
Interaction Office, The Quarter, 3-4 Edgar Mews, Bath BA1 2FX
Join us for Inspiring Cities: Bristol & Bath. You’ll hear from three leaders who will share how they’ve built connection and belonging – and how you can do the same in your organisation.
Why does this matter?
In today’s world of constant change and pressure connection and belonging are fundamental to culture, performance and wellbeing.
What’s more, research shows that when employees feel connected, they experience higher engagement, stronger job performance, and better overall wellbeing.
- Only 29% of employees report being satisfied with workplace collaboration [1]
- 52% are actively seeking new jobs, with lack of connection cited as a key reason [2]
- 20% experience daily loneliness, impacting performance and wellbeing.
The Format
You’ll hear from three experienced leaders who understand the emotional, practical and human sides of connection at work.
Through expert insight and lived experience, we’ll explore:
- The psychology behind belonging
- Practical ways to build connection across organisations
- How to create a more human-centred culture that acknowledges and supports employees through significant life moments that impact work.
There will also be opportunities for discussion and networking with fellow HR and business leaders.
