Be a part of the latest research and help close the employee engagement gap

Why is it, that despite a global increased focus on employee engagement, we are still yet to see any significant improvements? We call this the ‘employee engagement gap’ and we’d really like to understand how we can turn this around.

Our friends at People Lab have just launched their #SpotlightOn research programme and they want to hear from you! Now in its third year, this research is one of a kind, focusing solely on the employee engagement profession.

As you are the experts, they want your views on the realities of working in employee engagement, the good, the bad and the ugly!

In 2017 report, we learnt that:

  • People Managers are still not being invested in when it comes to developing their employee engagement skills, and as a result they’re less likely than ever to be rated as good or excellent when it comes to engaging their teams – declining by 25 percentage points compared to 2017
  • There’s still a lack of employee engagement strategies and plans – in fact, only 42% of the organisations that we spoke to have an employee engagement strategy
  • Practitioners are being expected to do more for less, with ‘big budgets’ seeing a huge decline

And lot’s more….You can read the full 2017 findings here or watch the webinar that our very own Ruth hosted with Emma Bridger to share the results earlier this year.
