Submission highlights

This year’s strongest elements as indicated by our independent judges.

  • Wellbeing

  • Inclusion & Belonging

  • Employee Voice

  • Comment from the judges

It was a true honor to be able to read your submission. It is one thing to create culture in a small employer, but to create and maintain culture in an organization with over 17,000 employees is truly exceptional. What really stood out to me was the coherence between the “Your Voice Matters” campaign and the actions you have taken to support it. It is one thing to say that people’s voices matter, but another to back that up with listening sessions, CEO on Demand, and suggestion channels that allow people to speak up and share what they are seeing and experiencing.

  • Comment from the judges

This was a strong and credible submission that reflects a mature people strategy grounded in listening, support, and a clear connection between co-worker experience and patient care. Parkview stands out for the scale and consistency of its employee listening practices, the breadth of its wellbeing infrastructure, and the strength of its retention outcomes in a challenging healthcare labor market.

  • Comment from the judges

Parkview Health exemplifies what it means to be a mission-driven, employee-first organization. Its culture of Excellence fosters engagement, well-being, and continuous improvement. The executive team’s hands-on approach, including 50+ leadership listening sessions, ensures employee voices directly shape company policies.

  • Comment from the judges

Parkview demonstrates a strong commitment to employee wellbeing and inclusion with many novel and impressive programs. Their approach to inclusion is comprehensive; I’m particularly impressed by their DEI Recruitment Specialist role.

  • Comment from the judges

Parkview Health’s submission effectively showcases the organization’s unwavering dedication to creating an exceptional employee experience characterized by comprehensive support, responsive leadership, a strong sense of belonging, and a genuine commitment to co-worker well-being. The alignment between the company’s purpose and its people practices, coupled with impressive measurable outcomes, sets Parkview apart as an inspiring workplace that truly values and invests in its people. I don’t have any suggestions for improvement!
